Founded in 2017, Sêmeia develops digital solutions that help hospitals and healthcare professionals better monitor patients with chronic or serious diseases, such as kidney disorders, diabetes or mental health conditions. By collecting and analyzing patient data in real time, Sêmeia’s tools can detect early warning signals, prevent relapses or rehospitalizations, and save valuable time for medical teams by avoiding unnecessary hospital visits.
Originally based in Paris, Sêmeia chose Toulouse to deploy its R&D team, attracted by the excellence of local universities, the dynamism of the healthcare and AI ecosystem, and the quality of life offered to employees. From a team of three people six years ago, Sêmeia has grown to 40 employees today, with engineers and data scientists who enjoy living and working in Toulouse.
Toulouse Team Invest played a key role in this decision, supporting Sêmeia at every step: presenting the territory to the management team in Paris, helping secure offices, facilitating housing for employees, and connecting the company with key local partners in health, AI and research.
