Batconnect designs connected lithium-ion batteries capable of doubling the lifespan of traditional batteries. Already established since 2019, the company has strengthened its development in Toulouse thanks to the support of Toulouse Team – Invest and the richness of the regional ecosystem.

A technology in full expansion

In 2022, Batconnect recorded strong commercial momentum, with nearly €700,000 in orders in the first quarter. The company was then developing predictive maintenance technology capable of significantly extending battery life, particularly for golf carts, autonomous robots and other professional applications.

The company’s growth was structured around a €1.5 million fundraising campaign aimed at accelerating its expansion into Italy, Spain and other markets sensitive to energy performance issues.

Even though Batconnect was already well established in the region, it was able to benefit from new connections thanks to Toulouse Team – Invest, which facilitated its expansion into complementary sectors.

The team put the company in touch with players in logistics, aeronautics and space, as well as private financiers and several prospects whose issues matched Batconnect’s solutions.

These contacts have enhanced the company’s visibility and strengthened its integration into the local energy ecosystem.

Consistent growth

The recent €3 million fundraising campaign marks the beginning of a new phase of development. This growth will enable the company to increase its production capacity, diversify its target markets and continue recruiting technical profiles.
Batconnect is now positioned in a variety of segments: airport equipment, autonomous robots, material handling, agriculture and solar energy. This diversification confirms the relevance of its Toulouse location and the robustness of its technology.
